Jeremy and I were looking for a larger parcel to be able to build a home one. We started looking at MLS listings and hired a buyers agent to show us around Georgetown, CA. She took us to a handfull of places and saved this one for last. As we were driving down the dirt road (2.5 miles to be exact) we kept looking at each other stating, "This isn't that bad." I think that was the first half-mile. Then we saw the last power pole, that was at the end of the first mile. Then we hit the clay, instead of the gravel road, and we still were looking at each other going, "This is getting out there" That was mile two. Then we hit the gate to the property, the agent opened it up and we drove in. The house was cute, it was actually better than we thought it would be. Then we started walking around...we fell in love. 40 acres of beuatiful trees an amazing view and quiet...so very quiet. We were sold. Are we crazy?
