I was recently introduced to the BabyBond Nursing Cover and it couldn’t have come at a better time. My daughter is almost 4 months old and is not the easiest to nurse. She likes to latch on and off multiple times while nursing. I have used other “hiders” before and I found they are bulky and a bit hard to use because you can’t see your baby as you nurse. The BabyBond Nursing Cover solves both of these problems.
The cover is worn like a sash and is made of a soft cotton. BabyBond has three styles to chose from, the Original, Flex and Couture. I chose the Flex which comes with removable burp cloth. The burp cloth is made of a soft terry velour fabric and is a perfect size to protect you and your shirt from those lovely mishaps. It also comes with a satchel to put the wrap back in for storage.
Memorial Day Weekend was a perfect time to test it out. We invite our friends up to the our ranch for the weekend. This was the fourth year we have celebrated together and the weather thankfully behaved itself. In between being a “Hostess with the Mostess” and the “Ranch Cook” I had to feed Elizabeth and finding a quiet area was rare. The Baby Bond Nursing Cover worked great! I was able to hang out with my friends and not embarrass any of the cowboys or the little ones.
It does take a bit of practice to get it on fast and correctly. It is made for nursing from the top of your shirt not the bottom so your tummy and back are still covered by your shirt. If the baby does unlatch you will need to pull the fabric down over your nipple to keep it covered.
I would highly recommend this nursing cover! It is a perfect gift for the Mom-to-be. BabyBond is offering a special discount to my readers for 25% off! Head on over the their website and enter the code “QUARTZ.”
