We purchased Hailey about a year ago for our daughter’s birthday. She is a 17 year old paint.
Hailey was a very loved horse but the owner was no longer to keep her horse property and
couldn’t afford to board her. She had owned Hailey since she was a wee one. It was heartbreaking but we knew we would give her a loving home and a little girl that would adore her.
Emily got to do a test ride before we purchased her. She was very easy to ride and would “teach” Emily when she was riding incorrectly.
Once we got her home she checked everyone out. Even little Jack. He just loves her.
She is absolutely beautiful. I love her one brown and one blue eye. She seems almost mystical.
Emily does let Jack ride her on occasion. I am sure when he gets older he will want one for his own.
I cannot believe it has been a year since we brought her into our home. We look forward to many long rides and long years with her.

My horse has one brown eye and one blue "glass" eye too. Makes them more special! A little girl with a horse of her own ~ how special.
She is beautiful. I so would love a horse and one like this--older and calm and good with children. We are out of land. I guess we need to buy a bigger place to grow my farm love ;) LOL

She's such a beautiful girl. I'm sure her previous owners are glad she's found a home where she is so loved.
What a beautiful little mare. It's so nice to see little girls and their horses... it brings such a smile to my face.
We got a 26 yr old quarter horse/walking horse gelding for our kids to "pony" around on and he's just wonderful for us. He's healthy, an easy-keeper, and as safe as anything that big could possibly be with the kids. Good horses are a great blessing!
